Zhiming Law Firm adds another international honor, officially becoming a member of the European Association of Lawyers (AEA).
Recently, Guangdong Zhiming Law Firm received an official invitation from the Association of European Attorneys (AEA) and was approved as a member unit. This marks another major breakthrough for Zhiming Law Firm in the field of foreign-related legal services, following its inclusion in the recommended list of legal services in China by the U.S. Embassy in China in early 2026. It also signifies that Zhiming has become the first law firm in Shenzhen to receive this international honor.
The Association of European Attorneys (AEA), established in 2004 and headquartered in Berlin, Germany, is an international legal organization dedicated to advancing the development of the legal profession across Europe and worldwide. The association brings together law firms and individual lawyers from various European countries and beyond, providing members with a platform for cross-border legal collaboration through international conferences, legal information exchange, and the promotion of transnational professional cooperation. Currently, AEA holds extensive global influence, with members spanning every continent. Being invited to join this international legal organization signifies that Zhiming Law Firm has received high recognition from authoritative international institutions in terms of professional competence, industry reputation, and international vision.
As a long-established law firm founded in Shenzhen in 2000, Zhiming Law Firm has grown over more than 26 years into a comprehensive boutique law firm focused on high-end legal fields, and is one of the first 21 time-honored law firms in Futian, Shenzhen. The firm currently has nearly 50 professionals, including partner lawyers, full-time lawyers, trainee lawyers, and administrative support staff, with practices covering corporate equity, finance and securities, construction and real estate, intellectual property, and international trade (including anti-dumping and antitrust). In terms of foreign-related legal services, Zhiming has long been deeply engaged in cross-border legal matters, accumulating extensive experience in areas such as Hong Kong-related and foreign arbitration and cross-border dispute resolution.
This invitation to join the European Lawyers Association is a natural result of Zhiming Law Firm's sustained efforts in the field of foreign-related legal services. Prior to this, Zhiming had already been recommended by the U.S. Embassy in China as a legal service provider in China. Now, with this additional recognition from the European Lawyers Association, it fully demonstrates Zhiming's growing influence on the international legal stage. Upon joining the AEA, Zhiming will gain valuable opportunities for in-depth exchange and cooperation with international peers, participate in international conferences and professional training organized by the AEA, and stay abreast of the latest developments in European law and cutting-edge information on cross-border legal services. This will not only enhance the firm's own professional service capabilities but also provide higher-quality, more specialized legal services related to Europe and foreign affairs for corporate and individual clients in Shenzhen and the broader Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
From being recommended by the U.S. Embassy in China to being invited to join the European Lawyers Association, Zhiming Law Firm has received consecutive international recognition this year. This not only affirms the firm's professional expertise accumulated over the past 26-plus years but also demonstrates the strong momentum of Shenzhen's local law firms in continuously breaking through on the path of internationalization. Rooted in Shenzhen, radiating across the Greater Bay Area, influencing the whole nation, and connecting globally, Zhiming Law Firm is steadily advancing toward this development vision. Looking ahead, the firm will leverage the AEA international platform to further deepen exchanges and cooperation with legal peers in Europe and around the world, providing more professional and efficient legal services for Chinese enterprises "going global" and foreign enterprises "coming to China," while contributing more "Zhiming strength" to the development of foreign-related rule of law.
