Parties have the right to apply for judicial appraisal, challenge appraisers during the appraisal process, and access appraisal opinions. The appraisal institution is selected through agreement or court designation.

The parties have the right to apply for the initiation of the appraisal procedure and may submit opinions on the appraisal matters, the scope of appraisal, and the selection of the appraisal institution. After the appraisal institution is determined, the parties have the right to apply for the recusal of the appraiser. If they object to the appraisal conclusion, the parties have the right to apply for the appraiser to testify in court, and may also apply for a re-appraisal or a supplementary appraisal.

The parties are obligated to submit the materials and information required for expert examination as requested by the court and to ensure the authenticity and completeness of such materials. Whether the materials have undergone cross-examination and authentication directly affects the probative value of the expert conclusion. If a party refuses to provide the materials without justified reasons, it may bear adverse legal consequences.

During the appraisal process, parties are advised to actively cooperate and promptly submit complete and authentic appraisal materials. If they have objections to the appraisal conclusion, they should raise specific grounds for the objection and, where necessary, apply for a person with specialized knowledge to appear in court to assist with cross-examination.
