On May 2, 2018, Hong Kong resident Chen, hired by others, was caught by customs attempting to smuggle four imitation guns concealed in his luggage upon entering the country. These were later identified as firearms through judicial appraisal. After Chen was detained, his relatives immediately hired a lawyer to defend him. However, after multiple in-depth discussions with the lawyer, Chen's relatives were not very satisfied with the lawyer they had hired, leaving the family feeling frustrated and helpless.
