With the development of non-litigation business and commercial litigation business, in order to enhance the relevant professional capabilities of the law firm's practitioners and better meet client needs, on the afternoon of May 17, the firm's lawyers and legal assistants attended a financial basics training session in the conference room.
This training was led by senior lawyer Zhang Yong, who holds a CPA qualification and has deep experience in non-litigation business and commercial litigation for many years. He has profound research on company law and also serves as a perennial legal advisor for multiple enterprises. Starting from company law, Lawyer Zhang Yong explained the financial knowledge involved in non-litigation and commercial litigation business, and guided the participants on key aspects such as how to review financial statements and identify suspicious points in practice, based on typical cases encountered during his years of practice.
During the training, participants raised questions based on practical issues they encountered to lawyer Zhang Yong and received effective answers. They expressed that the training systematically taught them the fundamentals of corporate finance and accounting standards, equipped them with skills to understand business conditions by analyzing balance sheets and other financial statements, and deepened their understanding of the Company Law and related judicial interpretations. The improvement in these legal and financial skills marked a solid step for the lawyers at Zhiming Law Firm toward becoming versatile legal professionals, further enhancing the breadth of the firm's business scope and the depth of its professional expertise.
