On the morning of May 21, 2009, Wang Tengfeng, director of our firm, and lawyer Cao Guanghui, as members of the lawyer volunteer group of the Shenzhen Consumer Council, were invited to attend a seminar on car air quality cases held at the Shenzhen Consumer Council. In the absence of national standards for car interior air quality, as senior experts and legal professionals, Director Wang Tengfeng and lawyer Cao Guanghui provided high-quality expert opinions on car owners' complaints about excessive harmful substances in car interior air and rights protection, from the perspectives of consumer rights protection, product quality liability, and environmental damage compensation. In particular, they further affirmed the justiciability of the discussed individual cases from a practical standpoint, proposed constructive solutions for relevant evidence collection and presentation matters of concern to car owners, and put forward a set of practical techniques and methods for the overall resolution of the cases, which were unanimously affirmed, praised, and adopted by the attending car experts, car owners, and Consumer Council staff.
