Expert lawyers from Zhiming Firm provide solutions for consumer complaint cases

On the morning of May 21, 2009, Attorney Wang Tengfeng, Director of our firm, and Attorney Cao Guanghui, as members of the Lawyer Volunteer Team of the Shenzhen Consumers Council, were invited to attend a seminar on automobile air quality cases held at the Shenzhen Consumers Council. In the absence of relevant national standards or limit values for in-car air quality, Attorney Wang Tengfeng and Attorney Cao Guanghui, as senior experts and legal professionals, offered high-quality expert opinions from the perspectives of consumer rights protection, product quality liability, and environmental damage compensation regarding vehicle owners’ complaints about excessive harmful substances in car interiors and their rights protection efforts. In particular, they further affirmed from a practical standpoint the justiciability of the individual case discussed at the seminar, proposed constructive solutions regarding evidence collection and burden of proof that concerned vehicle owners, and put forward a set of practical and feasible techniques and methods for the overall resolution of the case, which received unanimous recognition, praise, and adoption from attending automobile experts, vehicle owners, and staff of the Consumers Council.
