Zhì Míng Law Firm Holds 2009 Spring Festival Dinner
On the evening of January 9 at 6 p.m., our firm held its New Year Spring Festival banquet in the spacious and brightly lit banquet hall of Tianxin Pavilion Restaurant. First, Director Wang Tengfeng delivered a toast. He reviewed the firm’s achievements over the past year: although the fourth quarter was affected by the financial crisis, the firm’s overall performance for the year still grew to a certain extent, with both legal service revenue and taxes paid increasing compared with the previous year; new progress was made in participating in the Law into the Community program, making new contributions to building harmonious communities, and lawyers also gained a certain increase in case sources; two research articles on our work were awarded the Outstanding Paper Award at the Fourth China Young Lawyers Forum of the All China Lawyers Association. On behalf of Zhiming Law Firm, Director Wang thanked all lawyers and staff for their dedication and efforts, and wished everyone a happy Spring Festival, family happiness, and good health. Next, our firm’s partners Wang Tengfeng, Jia Runlian, Li Yuexiang, and other lawyers presented prizes to the top three finishers in the “Welcome Spring Festival, Celebrate the New Year” table tennis, Chinese chess, and darts competitions, and also presented commemorative gifts to all participants. As the banquet began, everyone raised their glasses frequently to celebrate together, bid farewell to the old and welcome the new, and during the meal singers enthusiastically sang and expressed their feelings, jointly celebrating the arrival of the Spring Festival and hoping that in the new year they would overcome the adverse effects of the financial crisis as soon as possible, forge ahead hand in hand, and create brilliance together!
