Notice on Mobilizing Lawyers of Our Firm to Actively Participate in Legal Affairs of Bankruptcy Cases

Dear Lawyers:

Currently, the international financial crisis is worsening, adversely affecting our country's enterprises and causing some companies to go bankrupt. Our firm hopes that our lawyers will fully utilize various business and social connections to actively strive to participate in legal affairs of corporate bankruptcy cases in our city. In the next two years, any of our lawyers who participate in the legal affairs of corporate bankruptcy cases in our city and become members of a corporate bankruptcy liquidation team will be recognized and rewarded by our firm through online commendation.

In addition, in October 2008, the Shenzhen Intermediate People’s Court announced the "Administrative Standards for Bankruptcy Case Administrators of the Shenzhen Intermediate People’s Court (Trial)" (hereinafter referred to as the "Standards"). These Standards not only provide normative regulations on the case management work of bankruptcy administrators, but also include innovative provisions regarding the administrator's financial assistance, the collection of management fees for recovered assets, etc., based on the "Enterprise Bankruptcy Law" and relevant judicial interpretations. They offer guidance for other lawyers representing other creditors and debtors in participating in the legal affairs of bankruptcy cases. The Standards have not yet been officially published and are available only as scanned images. Lawyers in our firm can make copies at the front desk or notify the front desk to move the scanned images to their personal file folders.
