[Shenzhen Lawyers Association] Implementing the Spirit of the 19th National Congress, Leading the Way in Industry Legal Publicity
On the morning of November 16, 2017, the Publicity Committee and the Professional Training Committee jointly held a lecture titled "Implementing the Spirit of the 19th CPC National Congress and Meeting the Principles and Requirements of Legal Publicity in the Lawyers' Profession under New Circumstances." The lecture aimed to implement the spirit of the 19th CPC National Congress, comprehensively advance the rule of law, and enable Shenzhen lawyers to promptly study, understand, and grasp the principles and requirements of legal publicity in the lawyers' profession under new circumstances, thereby effectively promoting the development of publicity work in Shenzhen's legal profession. Gao Dawei, Director of the Online News Publicity Division of the Publicity Department of the CPC Shenzhen Municipal Committee, was invited as the keynote speaker. Wang Tengfeng, Vice President of the Shenzhen Lawyers Association, attended the lecture and delivered a speech. Publicity correspondents from various special committees and professional committees, all members of the Publicity Work Committee of the Shenzhen Lawyers Association, and interested lawyers attended the lecture. The lecture was moderated by Chen Wei, Director of the Publicity Committee.
Vice President Wang Tengfeng pointed out in his speech that lawyers are legal professionals and an important force in promoting the construction of the rule of law. Under the new situation, they must enhance their awareness and level of rule-of-law publicity. President Wang urged the lawyers attending the lecture to seriously study the spirit of the 19th National Congress, establish the idea of governing the country according to law, deeply study and comprehend Director Gao's lecture, and apply the principles and requirements of rule-of-law publicity to daily rule-of-law publicity activities, making greater contributions to rule-of-law publicity.
Director Gao Dawei not only understands the legal profession but also has experience in legal publicity. Drawing on his legal work experience, he delivered a profound and engaging sharing on how to carry out legal publicity work in the legal profession from three aspects: new ideas under the new situation of the 19th National Congress, the principles and requirements of legal publicity as seen from the handling of public intellectuals and die-hard lawyers, and the application and bottom-line requirements of new media in legal publicity. In particular, he emphasized that governing the country according to law is a profound reform, and the legal profession must establish a sense of the big picture, correct ideology, adhere to socialist rule of law thinking, practice socialist core values, and earnestly do a good job in publicity work.
Through this lecture, Shenzhen lawyers gained a deeper understanding and insight into the important spirit of the 19th National Congress, which strengthened guidance for the development of publicity work in the legal profession.
