On the morning of October 18, 2017, Guangdong Zhiming Law Firm specially organized a collective viewing of the live broadcast of the "19th National Congress." Party members of the firm, other lawyers, paralegals, and administrative staff gathered in the conference room to watch and study the work report delivered by General Secretary Xi at the 19th National Congress of the Party.

In the study report, Xi Jinping pointed out that looking back at the past five years, the world situation has been turbulent. The five years since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China have been extremely extraordinary in the history of the Party and the country's development. The Shenzhou spacecraft ascending to space, the Jiaolong submersible diving into the sea, and the Fuxing high-speed rail, among other major scientific research and innovations, have boosted national morale and achieved accomplishments that have captured the world's attention.

China is now celebrating a highly important meeting—the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China. Our Director Wang Tengfeng, as the moderator of the study session, expressed during the study that as a lawyer, one should deeply grasp the spiritual essence and rich connotations of socialism with Chinese characteristics and apply them to one’s work. The Congress proposed that comprehensively advancing the rule of law is the essence and an important guarantee of socialism with Chinese characteristics. It is necessary to comprehensively promote scientific legislation, strict law enforcement, impartial justice, and universal law-abiding.
