[5] Zhiming Lawyers' Lecture Hall Kicks Off the First Lecture of the New Year — Interpreting Legal Practice from the Perspective of Institutional Economics
At the start of the new work year, on the afternoon of February 27, Zhiming Law Firm's "Zhiming Lawyer Lecture Hall" reopened, holding its first lecture. This lecture was given by Zhang Yong, a senior partner and experienced lawyer at Zhiming Law Firm, who shared "Basic Concepts and Analytical Methods of Institutional Economics," interpreting legal theory and lawyer practice from an economic perspective and alternative mindset. All on-duty lawyers, assistants, and administrative staff at Zhiming Law Firm participated in the learning.
At the beginning of the lecture, Lawyer Zhang Yong reiterated the importance of learning for the legal profession, emphasized the advantages of lawyers having interdisciplinary professional backgrounds, and encouraged everyone to continuously learn and strive for improvement in their work. During the lecture, Lawyer Zhang introduced concepts related to institutional economics, using economic terms such as cost analysis, rational economic man, and internal (external) effects to explain legal theory and lawyer practice, offering participants a fresh perspective. Questions and interactive Q&A sessions were also held on-site.
The Zhiming Lawyer Lecture Hall activity was personally planned under the care of Director Wang Tengfeng of Zhiming Law Firm, aiming to strengthen lawyer training and improve the overall business level of the firm. In 2017, the Zhiming Lawyer Lecture Hall held multiple lectures on topics such as lawyer practice and new law interpretations, achieving excellent results. In 2018, Zhiming Law Firm will effectively leverage the strength of the Youth Lawyer Development Liaison Department and the mentor team to institutionalize, normalize, and scale the firm's learning and training, further building the social brand effect of the Zhiming Lecture Hall.
