On June 12, 2016, due to insufficient business funds, Lu Mouying borrowed 30,000 yuan from a finance company, with agreed interest and repayment time. After signing the loan contract and receipt, Lu Mouying received the 30,000 yuan loan in her bank account. Later, within the agreed repayment period, Lu Mouying repaid the full principal via online transfer to the finance company's designated account (the interest had already been paid upon receipt of the loan).
A few months later, an employee of a financial company, Guo (the individual who had remitted funds from the company to Lu Mouying), sued Lu Mouying in court on the grounds that she had not repaid the loan, and had Lu's only house sealed up. Guo and the financial company knew well that clients like Lu Mouying mainly used their property and personal credit to obtain bank loans or small-sum financial company loans to temporarily resolve cash flow problems. Guo's lawsuit effectively restricted Lu Mouying's house, and before long, Lu Mouying's personal credit also developed problems, making her unable to obtain loans.
To find out the reason, and also to lift the freeze on the property and restore her personal credit as soon as possible, Lu Mouying took the initiative to approach Guo Mou. After several communications, Guo Mou and others offered a price equivalent to five times the principal, i.e., 150,000 yuan, telling Lu Mouying that the freeze would be lifted immediately upon payment. If Lu Mouying had no way to obtain a loan, they could also help "make connections." At this point, Lu Mouying realized that it was her own carelessness and negligence that gave others an opportunity to take advantage. Subsequently, Lu Mouying stopped negotiating with Guo Mou and others, and instead very rationally chose a lawyer, namely seeking help from Lawyer Ye Huijuan of Guangdong Zhiming Law Firm.
Attorney Ye Huijuan, through her examination of the case, keenly identified that Guo and a financial company were suspected of extortion. Subsequently, Attorney Ye submitted key evidence, such as recordings and photographs, to the judge and provided explanations. After reviewing all the evidence, questioning both the plaintiff and the defendant, and listening to Attorney Ye's opinions, the judge admonished the plaintiff in court, urging him to stop his wrongful conduct immediately, warning that otherwise he could face criminal liability.

This prevented the client from being ensnared in a wrongful case and upheld the fairness of the law.
