First-instance court's erroneous judgment created a "dead end"; Zhiming lawyers stepped in to "revive" the case

Nanshan Hai Moumou Beauty Salon is one of many beauty service establishments in Shenzhen. Its legal representative, Bu Mouwei, had accumulated a considerable number of female clients through years of hard work; Liu Mou was one of them. As a regular customer, Liu Mou frequently visited Nanshan Hai Moumou Beauty Salon. Unfortunately, the good times did not last long. Two years later, Liu Mou filed a lawsuit against Nanshan Hai Moumou Beauty Salon and its legal representative, Bu Mouwei, on the grounds of false advertising. The court ruled that the defendant, Nanshan Hai Moumou Beauty Salon, must refund the plaintiff, Liu Mou, a service fee of 289,736 yuan.
After receiving the first-instance judgment, Bu Mouwei, the legal representative of Nanshan Hai Moumou Beauty Salon, was as anxious as an ant on a hot pan. In an attempt to turn the tide, Bu Mouwei searched for lawyers all over Shenzhen. Later, through a friend's introduction, he found a lawyer from Guangdong Zhiming Law Firm. After a conversation with the lawyer, he felt suddenly enlightened and promptly completed the authorization procedures, formally entrusting the lawyer to handle his appeal.
After reviewing the case, Zhiming lawyers found that the first-instance court's characterization of the dispute was not accurate enough. The relationship between Bu Mouwei and Liu Mou was not merely a beauty service contract but also included a sales contract for related products. In addition, the evidence submitted by Liu Mou's attorney should be deemed invalid (obtained through unauthorized undercover investigation, which is suspected of being illegal). After determining the case strategy, Zhiming lawyer Cao Guanghui immediately filed an appeal on behalf of Bu Mouwei. Ultimately, the court accepted the appeal arguments of the Zhiming lawyer team and issued a final judgment overturning the first-instance ruling.
After receiving the good news of winning the second-instance trial, Bu Mouwei repeatedly expressed gratitude to the Zhiming lawyer team and sincerely praised them: "The literary and artistic rights litigation defends justice, with miraculous results!"
