Zhiming lawyer forces Jiayuan to compensate for infringement losses of 100,000 yuan.

Recently, the case of trademark infringement dispute between Century Jiayuan matchmaking website and the proprietor of the exclusive right to use the trademark, Mr. Liu Huaqing, represented by our firm's attorney Zhi Ming, was resolved just before the second-instance trial was about to commence at the Shenzhen Intermediate People's Court: Century Jiayuan website, under pressure of impending defeat, proactively sought a settlement and voluntarily agreed to compensate Mr. Liu Huaqing, the proprietor of the exclusive right to use the trademark of Magpie Net, the sum of RMB 100,000. Mr. Liu Huaqing, in a spirit of magnanimity, agreed to the settlement proposed by Century Jiayuan, and both parties reached a reconciliation. Century Jiayuan website has since paid Mr. Liu Huaqing the trademark infringement compensation of RMB 100,000, and Mr. Liu Huaqing has agreed to withdraw the related litigation.
