The father of plaintiff Li and his brother, along with Wu, were each riding motorcycles when they collided at a certain section of Shenhui Road in a traffic accident. Five days later, the Li brothers' father died from his severe injuries. Attorney Sun Shujie, acting as the plaintiffs' representative, named Wu, the motorcycle user, and Zhong, the motorcycle owner, as co-defendants in accordance with legal provisions, demanding that the two bear joint liability. Because the deceased had remained in a coma until his death and left no account of the accident, the defendants seized the opportunity to argue in court that the deceased was not a party to the accident, attempting to evade legal responsibility. Attorney Sun Shujie presented extensive evidence and, pursuant to legal provisions, demanded that the two defendants pay death compensation, medical expenses, and other claims, ultimately securing a victory for the two plaintiffs.
