[2] 2003 Utility Model Patent Infringement Dispute Case of Business Card-Style Handwriting Computer
In June 2001, a Shenzhen company launched the then world's smallest all-Chinese handwriting PDA, the "Xin e Tong" series, and obtained a utility model patent for the "business card-style handwriting computer." However, a Zhongshan company launched a product with identical technical features, the "Super Intelligent King," in May of the following year and promoted it nationwide, leading to a utility model patent infringement dispute. Attorney Wang Tengfeng, as the lead counsel for the plaintiff Shenzhen company, conducted extensive and effective investigation and evidence collection. The dispute was later settled through mediation, and the plaintiff's intellectual property rights were effectively protected.
