[Shenzhen Bar Association] Zhiming Law Firm Conducts Diverse Activities for "9.25 Lawyer Publicity Day"
This September 25 marks the seventh National Lawyer Publicity Day. Zhiming Law Firm took practical actions to carry out rich and diverse publicity activities, achieving good results.
On the morning of September 13, Wang Tengfeng, director of the firm, responded to a request from a resident of Donghai Community in Yantian Street and sent lawyers Liu Yi, Zhang Qingping, and Yan Xiaoying to provide legal consultation at the resident's home. The lawyers carefully reviewed the materials provided by the elderly person, answered related questions in detail, and the elderly person was very satisfied, expressing deep gratitude for the free legal consultation offered by the lawyers in the community.
On September 26, the firm jointly published the 16th issue of the "Legal Publicity Column" with the Yantian Street Judicial Office, featuring an article titled "Implementing the General Secretary's Important Speech, Deepening Legal Education," which expressed the firm's lawyers' determination to advance "democratic legal education." The firm also made five commitments to the units and residents of Yantian Street, including providing legal aid to applicants and not charging lawyer fees for legal representation in lawsuits. The column also published "Case Analysis of the Tort Liability Law," "Highlights of the Tort Liability Law," and "Ten Praises for This National Day's Many Joys," a Yantian Hakka "Five-Line Board" folk song, offering fresh legal information to community residents and adding a festive atmosphere to the National Day holiday.
On the afternoon of September 27, lawyers Zhang Hongliang and Zhang Qingping from the firm visited the Yong'an Community Workstation they are assigned to and held a legal consultation at a crowded area in the community. They addressed inquiries from multiple residents on legal issues such as labor disputes, family property, and traffic accident compensation, distributing several lawyer promotional materials and legal regulation pamphlets. Workstation Director Wu Yanqiang expressed gratitude for the service provided by Zhiming lawyers and hoped to strengthen legal publicity on rental housing management. Director Wu also suggested diversifying the forms of legal publicity, proposing that the street judicial office and Zhiming Firm take the lead, with the community contributing performances, to organize legal publicity cultural and entertainment shows.
