[Shenzhen Lawyers Association] Zhiming Law Firm Carries Out "September 25 Lawyers' Publicity Day" Activities in Multiple Forms
September 25 this year marks the seventh National Lawyers' Publicity Day. Zhiming Law Firm carried out a series of publicity activities with substantive content and diverse formats through practical actions, achieving positive results.
On the morning of September 13, at the request of a resident of Donghai Community in Yantian Street, Attorney Wang Tengfeng, Director of the firm, dispatched attorneys Liu Yi, Zhang Qingping, and Yan Xiaoying to provide on-site legal consultation. The attorneys carefully reviewed the materials provided by the elderly resident and answered the relevant questions in detail. The elderly resident was very satisfied and expressed deep appreciation for the attorneys' free legal consultation services in the community.
On September 26, the firm jointly published the 16th issue of the Legal Education Bulletin with the Yantian Subdistrict Judicial Office. The issue featured an article titled Implementing the Secretary-General’s Important Speech and Deepening Legal Education, which expressed the firm’s lawyers’ determination to advance “democratic legal education.” At the same time, the firm made five commitments to entities and residents within the Yantian Subdistrict jurisdiction, including that no attorney fees would be charged when parties applied for legal aid or when lawyers represented them in legal proceedings. The bulletin also published Case Interpretations of the Tort Liability Law, Highlights of the Tort Liability Law, and Ten Songs Celebrating This Year’s National Day Joys, a Yantian Hakka “five-line verse” folk song, providing community residents with fresh legal information and adding a festive atmosphere to the National Day celebrations.
On the afternoon of September 27, attorneys Zhang Hongliang and Zhang Qingping from the firm visited the Yong'an Community Work Station, to which they are assigned, and held a legal consultation event at a crowded location in the community. They received inquiries from multiple residents on legal issues including labor disputes, family property, and traffic accident compensation, and distributed multiple copies of lawyer promotional and legal regulation materials. Station Chief Wu Yanqiang of the Work Station expressed gratitude for the services provided by Zhiming lawyers and hoped to strengthen the promotion of regulations on rental housing management. Chief Wu also suggested diversifying the forms of legal publicity, proposing that the Subdistrict Judicial Office and Zhiming Law Firm take the lead, with the community contributing performances, to organize legal publicity entertainment shows.
