Guangdong Lawyers Association: The Provincial Lawyers Association's Industry Development Research Working Committee Held Its First Plenary Meeting of 2018
On the morning of April 14, 2018, the first working meeting of the Industry Development Research Committee of the Provincial Lawyers Association was successfully held in Dongguan. Ye Naifeng, Vice President of the Provincial Lawyers Association; Huang Zhenhui, Director of the Industry Development Research Committee; Zhang Qian, Song Wanjun, and Liang Zhirui, Deputy Directors; Gu Feng, Secretary-General; and other committee members attended the meeting. Wang Tengfeng, Deputy Supervisor-General of the Provincial Lawyers Association, was invited to attend as a non-voting participant. The meeting was chaired by Deputy Director Liang Zhirui.
At the meeting, Secretary-General Gu Feng conveyed the spirit of the "2017 Annual Work Report Meeting of the Guangdong Lawyers Association Committees and Training Program for Directors, Deputy Directors, and Secretaries-General." Director Huang Zhenhui organized all committee members to study the "Quantitative Assessment Scoring Rules for Committees of the Guangdong Lawyers Association (Trial Implementation)" and assigned and deployed the committee's work for 2018. Vice President Ye Naifeng fully affirmed the members' active participation in the meeting, noting that the committee's division of work for this year is specific and highly practicable. He expressed hope that all members of the Industry Development Research Working Committee would work together to advance the 2018 work in an orderly manner according to the annual work list approved by the directors' meeting.
Finally, Wang Tengfeng, Deputy Supervisor of the Provincial Lawyers Association, delivered his supervisory remarks. He considered the meeting to be efficient and smooth, substantive in content, flexible in format, and that it successfully completed all agenda items, achieving the expected results.
