President Lin Changchi reported on the development of the legal profession in Shenzhen and the work plan for the 10th Shenzhen Lawyers Association, stating that efforts would focus on the following key tasks: First, actively respond to the "Belt and Road" initiative, expand legal services and talent cultivation, and strengthen and optimize law firms. Second, rely on the Municipal Bureau of Justice to promote industry informatization, striving to achieve interconnectivity between the industry and the information systems of public security, procuratorates, and courts, creating conditions for lawyers to handle cases and contact judges. Third, comprehensively deepen the construction of the legal professional community, promote the establishment of a normalized joint meeting system with public security, procuratorates, courts, justice bureaus, and security departments, and address difficulties in lawyers' practice one by one. Fourth, establish the Shenzhen Law Academy to create a hub for internship training, talent cultivation, business research, and legal dissemination in the Shenzhen legal profession. Fifth, strive to amend the Special Zone Lawyers Regulations, using legislative advantages to accelerate industry development. At the same time, continue to focus on government legal service procurement and industry self-discipline management. The attending representatives of the Shenzhen Lawyers Association also highlighted industry tax demands. President Lin Changchi stated that the new association team would humbly listen to the guidance of judicial administrative organs and higher-level lawyers associations and implement them, while requesting the National Lawyers Association to further increase support for the Shenzhen legal profession, providing attention and support in sharing legal service resources, jointly hosting business forums, and cultivating foreign-related legal talents.

President Wang Junfeng fully affirmed the achievements of the Shenzhen legal profession and the work vision of the 10th Shenzhen Lawyers Association, stating that as a frontier city of reform and opening up, Shenzhen holds an important and unique position in the development of the national legal profession. He hoped that Shenzhen lawyers would strive to be pioneers in the new round of industry innovation and development, continuing to focus on the following aspects: First, maintain a high stance, broad vision, and wide perspective, always adhere to the leadership of the Party, integrate legal work into the overall work of the Party committee and government, and leverage the exemplary and leading role of Special Zone lawyers. Second, review and summarize the development history and experience of the Shenzhen legal profession over the past 30 years, using self-discipline and innovation as key drivers and breakthroughs to promote a new round of industry innovation and development. Third, take the comprehensive implementation of government legal advisors as an opportunity to assist in government administrative reform and innovation, while exploring new paths for the national legal profession to gain due status and matching rights in participating in public interest legal services. Fourth, proactively adapt to new trends and demands such as "Internet+," artificial intelligence, and big data, actively explore new applications and models of intelligent tools in the legal profession, and accumulate experience for the national legal profession to cope with technological change trends. Fifth, leverage the construction of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area to accelerate the international development of the Shenzhen legal profession and the cultivation of foreign-related legal talents, seizing policy opportunities to further strengthen and optimize the legal profession.

Secretary-General Han Xiutao stated that the work of Shenzhen lawyers is not only of concern to the National Lawyers Association but also attracts the attention of the national legal profession. He hoped that the Shenzhen Lawyers Association would, on one hand, grasp new situations and opportunities, continuously advance the development of the legal profession, and create new highlights in modern service industries. On the other hand, it should play an active role in the new round of judicial system reform, safeguard lawyers' practice rights, and further explore and improve the industry self-discipline management mechanism in line with the Ministry of Justice's requirements for lawyers associations to take the lead. The National Lawyers Association will also intensify efforts to promote the implementation of relevant lawyer work reform documents in the near future, striving to create favorable practice conditions and environments for lawyers nationwide.
