Shenzhen Lawyers Association Holds Award Ceremony for "2014 Outstanding Law Firm Publications and Websites"
To distill the spirit of cultural development in Shenzhen law firms, enhance their cultural quality, and consolidate the professional spirit of Shenzhen lawyers, the Lawyers' Cultural Development and Rules Committee held the selection event for the 2014 Law Firm Cultural Development Individual Awards. On December 11, 2014, the Shenzhen Lawyers Association held an award ceremony for the 2014 law firms selected for the Outstanding Firm Publication Award and Outstanding Firm Website Award, as well as the finalists for the Outstanding Firm Logo, Outstanding Firm Publication, and Outstanding Firm Website Awards. A total of 50 people attended the ceremony, including Vice President Huang Sizhou of the Shenzhen Lawyers Association, Supervisor Wang Jinsong, representatives of participating firms, and some members of the Cultural Development and Rules Committee. The event was presided over by Wang Tengfeng, Director of the Lawyers' Cultural Development and Rules Committee.
Director Wang Tengfeng introduced the background of this event and relevant details of the selection activity. This selection activity solicited registrations from law firms across the city. After preliminary selection by the Cultural Construction Selection Working Group of the Shenzhen Lawyers Association and review by the Selection Review Panel, the winners were ultimately determined as follows: the Outstanding Firm Publication Award went to Guangdong Zhongxi Law Firm, and the Outstanding Website Award went to Guangdong Lianjian Law Firm. In addition, the law firms shortlisted for the Outstanding Firm Logo were: Guangdong Xingchen Law Firm, Guangdong Sihao Law Firm, Guangdong Zhiming Law Firm, Guangdong Lianjian Law Firm, and Guangdong Jinmei Law Firm; the law firms shortlisted for the Outstanding Firm Publication were: Guangdong Zhongxi Law Firm, Guangdong Yaerde Law Firm, Beijing Yingke (Shenzhen) Law Firm, Guangdong Baocheng Law Firm, and Guangdong Lianjian Law Firm; the law firms shortlisted for the Outstanding Website were: Guangdong Lianjian Law Firm, Guangdong Zhongxi Law Firm, Guangdong Zhiming Law Firm, Guangdong Ruiting Law Firm, and Beijing Yingke (Shenzhen) Law Firm.
Vice President Huang Sizhou and Director Wang Tengfeng presented awards to the winning law firms. Director Li Yuanyong of Guangdong Zhongxi Law Firm, whose publication won the Excellent Firm Publication Award, shared his experience and remarked: the key to an excellent firm publication lies in perseverance; it is no easy task for lawyers to write articles and compile publications in the midst of a busy practice. Lawyer Wang Jinsong, a partner at Guangdong Lianjian Law Firm, which won the Excellent Website Award, shared his firm’s management culture and learning atmosphere. Attendees actively took part in the discussion, showcasing the cultural spirit of their respective law firms and sharing their experiences in cultural development and management.
Vice President Huang Sizhou pointed out that the cultural construction of lawyers and law firms contributes to the advancement of the legal profession. The strict scoring criteria of this selection activity ensured that the winning law firms were truly deserving.
