[Shenzhen Lawyers Association] The Municipal Lawyers Association Visits Jiangsu and Shanghai Lawyers Associations for Study
From April 8 to 10, 2018, a nine-member delegation including Wang Tengfeng, Vice President of the Shenzhen Lawyers Association; Chen Xufei, Director of the Strategic Development Committee; Gao Liming, Director of the Senior Lawyers Committee; Fu Libiao, Director of the Sports Committee; and Wei Xinmin, Supervisor, visited the Jiangsu Lawyers Association and the Shanghai Lawyers Association to conduct in-depth research and exchanges on the development strategy of the legal profession, care for senior lawyers, and sports and health initiatives for lawyers.
On the morning of the 9th, Vice President Wang Tengfeng and his delegation of 9 people held a discussion and exchange with Song Zhengping, Vice President of the Jiangsu Lawyers Association, Wang Huiqing, Director of the Business Innovation Guidance Working Committee, Jia Zhenghe, Director of the Cultural Development Working Committee, and directors of relevant working committees of the Nanjing Lawyers Association. The two sides exchanged views and held discussions on the strategic planning and layout for the development of the lawyer industry, the carrying out of care activities for senior lawyers, and the advancement of sports and health work for lawyers. Guan Jianjun, Vice President of the Jiangsu Lawyers Association, welcomed the visit of the Municipal Lawyers Association and provided an introduction on the development of the lawyer industry in Jiangsu Province, talent development, and the fulfillment of social responsibilities.
It is reported that this was the first exchange and reception activity since the Jiangsu Lawyers Association moved to its new location. Vice President Wang Tengfeng expressed great honor that this symposium was held in the conference room of the newly relocated Jiangsu Lawyers Association office building. He also expressed gratitude to the Jiangsu Lawyers Association for sharing its work experience in recent years in implementing reforms to the lawyer industry system, promoting the development of county-level lawyers, broadening channels for the industry to participate in political affairs, and improving the lawyer welfare system. He hoped that the Jiangsu Lawyers Association and the Shenzhen Lawyers Association would strengthen communication and interaction to jointly promote the vigorous development of the lawyer industry, care for senior lawyers, and lawyers' sports and health initiatives.
On the morning of the 10th, Vice President Wang Tengfeng and a delegation of nine people held discussions and exchanges with Guan Jianjun, Vice President of the Shanghai Bar Association, and deputy directors and members of relevant working committees on matters including strategic planning for the development of the legal profession, activities to care for senior lawyers, and the development of lawyers' sports and health. Vice President Guan Jianjun of the Shanghai Bar Association welcomed the delegation from the Shenzhen Bar Association on this visit, and gave a focused introduction to the Shanghai Bar Association's strategic planning for the development of the legal profession, its series of lawyer care activities, and the status of lawyers' sports and health activity programs, while sharing its experience and practices. The two sides engaged in thorough exchanges in a warm atmosphere. After the meeting, they exchanged commemorative gifts and posed for a group photo.
[6] Through this inspection and study, the Strategy Committee, Senior Lawyers Committee, and Sports Committee of the Shenzhen Bar Association gained a deeper understanding of the strategic planning of the legal profession, activities for caring for senior lawyers, and the promotion of lawyers' sports and health in Jiangsu and Shanghai. This clarified the key priorities for the development strategy of the legal profession, care for senior lawyers, and lawyers' sports and health, and broadened the association's approach to these areas.
