To continuously promote the excellent culture of Shenzhen lawyers and refine their professional, dedicated, innovative, and boldly reformative spiritual and cultural ethos, the Lawyers' Cultural Construction and Rules Committee of our association, in accordance with the work deployment of the current council, successfully completed the selection of the 2015 Law Firm Cultural Construction "Outstanding Firm Logo Award and Outstanding Website Award."

On October 25, 2015, the award ceremony for the 2015 Shenzhen Lawyers Association "Outstanding Firm Logo Award and Outstanding Website Award" was held at Jingtian Hotel. Attendees included the Municipal Lawyers Association President Gao Shu, Vice President Huang Sizhou, Supervisor Zhao Bo, Vice President of the Provincial Signage Association Zhao Hua, Director of the Lawyers' Cultural Construction and Rules Committee Wang Tengfeng, all members of the committee, and representatives from the award-winning law firms. Media outlets such as Shenzhen Evening News and Southern Daily provided coverage of the ceremony.

Director Wang Tengfeng summarized the annual law firm cultural construction "Outstanding Firm Logo and Outstanding Website Awards" and announced the results of this year's selection. The attending leaders presented awards to the representatives of the winning units for the "Outstanding Firm Logo Award" and "Outstanding Website Award." The law firms that ultimately received the 2015 "Outstanding Firm Logo Award" were: Guangdong Huashang Law Firm, Guangdong Lvjian Law Firm, and Guangdong Prometheus Law Firm; the list of law firms that received the "Outstanding Website Award" was: Guangdong Huashang Law Firm, Guangdong Guanghe Law Firm, and Guangdong Rongheng Law Firm. The speeches by the representatives of the winning units allowed lawyers and the public to understand the cultural construction of law firms and also sparked exchanges of views and collisions of wisdom within the legal profession.

Vice President Huang Sizhou pointed out that the Lawyer Cultural Construction and Rules Committee, based on last year's selection, carefully summarized experiences and accumulated achievements, successfully holding this year's selection activity. It set an example in the industry with its working principles of fairness, justice, openness, professionalism, and efficiency. At the same time, the practice of inviting different industry associations to participate in the evaluation process played a significant role in promoting professional exchanges and business penetration among non-peers. As a specialized functional body under the council, it fully leveraged its working philosophy of "breaking through channels without being constrained by details and broadening horizons to spread culture," giving full play to the initiative of the specialized committee. This opened a door for the outside world to understand the cultural inclusiveness of Shenzhen lawyers, who seek common ground while reserving differences and embrace all rivers.

President Gao Shu pointed out that firm logos and websites, as external display channels for law firms and lawyers, play an important role in promoting legal business and enhancing the image of lawyers. Their greater significance lies in their seamless alignment with the Fourth Plenary Session of the 18th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China regarding the rule of law and the construction of a law-based society. The self-promotion of Shenzhen lawyers is also the promotion of legal culture by the entire society; their self-requirements are also the requirements of the entire society for legal culture; and the public's expectations of lawyers are also the expectations of the entire society for legal culture. Every law firm should have its own unique culture and be able to tell its own story. It is hoped that Shenzhen law firms will start with their logos and websites to showcase or form their own distinctive cultural characteristics.

Finally, President Gao Shu offered his best wishes to all the winning units of the 2015 Law Firm Cultural Construction "Outstanding Firm Logo and Outstanding Website Awards" and expressed the hope that all participating units would make further progress, inherit and promote their outstanding culture, showcase the spirit of Shenzhen lawyers on a broader stage, promote the working philosophy of the legal profession in the construction of a rule-of-law Shenzhen to a wider audience, and convey the hope of creating a "Shenzhen Standard" in the broader context of participating in China's rule-of-law cultural construction to a higher platform.
