[Shenzhen Lawyers Association] New Look, New Highlights, New Features, Achieving New Results and New Improvements
[2] On the afternoon of June 23, 2017, the first plenary meeting of the 10th Shenzhen Lawyers Association Publicity Work Committee was successfully held in the conference room of the Shenzhen Lawyers Association. The meeting was chaired by Chen Wei, Director of the Publicity Work Committee. President Lin Changchi and Vice President Wang Tengfeng delivered speeches, and Supervisor Xiao Huadong attended to oversee the proceedings. Deputy Directors Yan Yudan, Yang Yindi, Wang Ning, Secretary Yu Gang, Assistant Director Chen Kaiwei, and committee members Wei Dan, Xie Hongjun, Ge Pengchong, Ma Haoran, Chao Weiqian, Liu Can, Hu Chunxue, Wang Zhiwei, Xu Jianghua, Xu Jiangyun, Zheng Xuemei, Shu Hongling, Hu Lin, Huang Yun, Zhao Bo, and Wei Gongkui were present.
[3] At the meeting, President Lin Changchi fully affirmed the important role of the Publicity Work Committee within the Shenzhen Lawyers Association and the broader legal community in Shenzhen. President Lin stated that, in addition to continuing the responsibilities of the previous term, the committee should innovate in content, methods, and platforms for future publicity work, adapting to new trends, new media, and new needs. Vice President Wang Tengfeng, as the leader overseeing publicity work, introduced the selection process for the committee's director, deputy directors, and members, emphasized the importance of the committee's work, and put forward specific new requirements and expectations for future work. He pointed out that future publicity efforts should present a new image, new highlights, and new characteristics, achieving new results and improvements, and leveraging the youth advantage of the committee members to push publicity work to new heights through new media platforms.
[4] After President Lin Changchi and Vice President Wang Tengfeng presented the "Certificate of Appointment" to the new committee members, all attending members collectively recited their commitment to fulfill their duties.
[5] Director Chen Wei led the study and discussion of the "2017 Annual Work Plan and Current Term Work Plan for the Publicity Work Committee," the "Working Rules of the Publicity Work Committee," and the "Working Rules of the Special Committees of the Shenzhen Lawyers Association." He also arranged the division of work among the director, deputy directors, and secretary. The meeting focused on discussing the specific publicity work plan for the current term. Committee members engaged in in-depth exchanges and discussions on topics including the editing and publishing of the "Shenzhen Lawyer" magazine, the construction of the WeChat public account, content innovation on the Shenzhen Lawyers Association website, optimization and management of the "Shenzhen Lawyer Home" APP, filming of the "Oral History" documentary and micro-films, legal publicity activities on September 25 and December 4, cooperation and exchanges with media including CCTV and local TV stations, production and release of the "30th Anniversary Documentary of the Shenzhen Lawyers Association," branding and institutionalizing the "Press Conference," identifying and promoting outstanding figures and positive events in the legal profession, and compiling the "Shenzhen Lawyer Yearbook." To clarify responsibilities, committee members were divided into three groups based on the deputy directors' work assignments and voluntary participation to engage in specific committee tasks.
[6] At the end of the meeting, Supervisor Xiao Huadong delivered his supervisory opinion. Supervisor Xiao noted that the committee members showed high enthusiasm for participation and affirmed the work plans, proposals, and methods presented at the meeting, as well as the performance of the members, deeming it a successful meeting. He also urged committee members to strictly adhere to the "Working Rules of the Special Committees of the Shenzhen Lawyers Association," emphasizing that their performance would be evaluated according to these rules, and encouraged everyone to fulfill their duties diligently.
