[Shenzhen Bar Association] The Municipal Bar Association's Senior Lawyers Working Committee held its first work meeting of 2018
On the afternoon of April 19, 2018, the Senior Lawyers Committee held its first work meeting of 2018 in the conference room of the Shenzhen Bar Association. The meeting was attended by Vice President Wang Tengfeng, Director Gao Liming, and all committee members, and was chaired by Director Gao Liming.
Director Gao Liming summarized the work of the Senior Lawyers Committee in 2017 and reported to the members on the outcomes of visits to the Shanghai and Jiangsu Bar Associations. The meeting also outlined key tasks for 2018: first, to conduct recognition activities for senior lawyers with 30 years of practice, including assessment, selection, and commendation; second, to lead the organization of the "Craftsmanship Transfer" initiative, inviting an influential senior lawyer each month to give a lecture.
Vice President Wang Tengfeng noted that 2018 marks the 30th anniversary of the Shenzhen Bar Association. Senior lawyers have witnessed, participated in, and driven the continuous growth of the legal profession in Shenzhen. He suggested recognizing those senior lawyers who have made special contributions to the development of the industry. The "Craftsmanship Transfer" initiative aims to share the rich experience and skills of senior lawyers, pass on the professional spirit of Shenzhen lawyers, and support the development of the legal profession in Shenzhen.
Attending committee members offered opinions and suggestions on how to effectively implement the 2018 work plan of the Senior Lawyers Committee.
