[4] On December 16, the Industry Development Strategy Committee of the Municipal Bar Association (hereinafter referred to as the "Strategy Committee") held a summary meeting for the "Shenzhen Lawyer Industry Social Responsibility Report" and the second full work meeting of 2018. The meeting was attended by Lin Changchi, President of the Municipal Bar Association; Vice President Wang Tengfeng; Lu Shu, representative of the Supervisory Board; Secretary-General Li Tongbao; Chen Xufei, Director of the Strategy Committee; Deputy Directors Fan Yongqiang, Zhu Rui, and Gu Siyuan; and all committee members.

[5] The leadership team of the Strategy Committee provided a comprehensive summary of the compilation of the key 2018 project, the "Shenzhen Lawyer Industry Social Responsibility Report" (hereinafter referred to as the "Social Responsibility Report"), and outlined the work plan and arrangements for 2019.

[6] The compilation of the Social Responsibility Report involved a wide scope, a large amount of information, and a high level of attention. The editorial committee conducted five research sessions and twelve editorial meetings for repeated study and careful organization. From the report framework to specific content, the draft underwent over a dozen revisions, ultimately reducing from an initial 290 pages and 170,000 words to 118 pages and nearly 70,000 words, finalizing the responsibility report. The Social Responsibility Report is divided into six chapters, covering the development status of Shenzhen's lawyer industry and the efforts and achievements of Shenzhen lawyers in serving the political landscape, actively participating in political and governmental affairs, advancing the rule of law, optimizing the business environment, supporting economic development, engaging in social construction, serving a harmonious society, enhancing value realization, and promoting organizational development. It focuses on typical cases of Shenzhen lawyers fulfilling social responsibilities over the past five years, thereby illustrating the role of Shenzhen lawyers' social responsibility in promoting the construction of a rule-of-law government and a rule-of-law society in Shenzhen. The compilation of the 2018 Social Responsibility Report was successfully completed, and in 2019, the Strategy Committee will undertake the compilation of the Shenzhen Lawyer Industry Development Report and the Shenzhen Lawyer Industry Talent Development Research Report.
 

President Lin Changchi fully affirmed the achievements of the Strategic Committee in 2018. He pointed out that the social responsibility report is rich in content, reflecting the committee's strong sense of responsibility and solid professional knowledge. The compilation of this report has presented a valuable gift for the 30th anniversary celebration of the Municipal Bar Association. The work of the Bar Association is a continuous legacy from one term to the next. He hopes that everyone will fully grasp the development strategy of the legal profession, dare to take responsibility, and bravely overcome difficulties to complete the work of this term, contributing to the development and progress of the legal profession.
 

Vice President Wang Tengfeng expressed gratitude for the hard work of the Strategic Committee in 2018 and noted that the social responsibility report, both in its format and content, demonstrates the committee's rigorous and solid work attitude. He hopes that in 2019, the Strategic Committee will maintain this momentum and full enthusiasm, and complete the compilation of two reports on industry development and talent development.

Finally, lawyer Lu Shu delivered supervisory opinions on behalf of the Board of Supervisors.
