The First Lecture of the Zhiming Lecture Hall • Young Lawyers Lecture Series Begins
On the afternoon of February 1, 2018, the Zhiming Lecture Hall of Guangdong Zhiming Law Firm organized the first lecture after the establishment of the Youth Lawyers Liaison and Development Department—a youth lawyer lecture on workplace etiquette. This lecture featured a non-professional topic and specially invited Professor Bo Cheng, an expert in workplace etiquette training, to give a talk titled "Workplace Style—Professional Image and Business Etiquette."
The speaker began with the principle of "discipline yourself and respect others," explaining the importance of workplace etiquette in social interactions, especially for the legal profession and lawyers' careers. The lecture focused on the norms and details that lawyers should pay attention to in various aspects such as dressing, speaking, receiving clients, and meetings. The speaker also interacted with the audience around everyday etiquette, and through on-site simulation exercises, enabled lawyers to further understand the application of standardized and normative etiquette in the workplace.
[4] Lawyers who attended the training unanimously agreed that mastering workplace etiquette is significant for optimizing client services and enhancing the firm's image. They resolved to internalize this training in their hearts and externalize it in their actions, using their own image improvement to promote the firm's image and better uphold the professional image of lawyers in society.
