Law is the most powerful weapon for maintaining national stability and the vigorous development of all undertakings. It is a tool for defending the rights and interests of the people, and it is also a means for rulers to rule the ruled. The ultimate role of law is to maintain social order and safeguard the personal safety and interests of the people in society. However, as the most powerful weapon, law also needs its pioneers and practitioners—lawyers. To become a lawyer, one must pass the rigorous national judicial examination and thereby be awarded a legal professional qualification certificate. As a candidate without a legal background, how exactly can one pass the judicial examination, which is known as one of the three "hardest exams" (the other two being the certified public accountant examination and the civil service examination)?

On the afternoon of February 22, Zhiming Law Firm held a group exchange and learning session themed "My Path to the Legal Profession Qualification Exam." Lawyers and legal assistants present at the firm attended this seminar and training in the firm's conference room.
This exchange and learning session was led by trainee lawyer Li Zuolin, who shared with the attendees his journey of successfully passing the National Unified Legal Profession Qualification Examination. During his sharing, Li Zuolin mentioned that his determination to become a lawyer was inspired by a rural teacher. On a summer day in 1997 after a rain, during a conversation with a rural teacher in his village, the teacher casually mentioned the legal profession, which took root in Li Zuolin’s heart and forged an indissoluble bond with him ever since. After entering the workforce, he frequently borrowed legal books from the library to continuously enrich himself, drawing legal knowledge comprehensively from both theoretical cultivation and practical skills. Through unremitting efforts, he was ultimately awarded the Legal Profession Qualification Certificate on his fourth attempt. At the same time, he also took this opportunity to advise aspiring legal enthusiasts who are about to become lawyers that as legal professionals, one should hold the Goddess of Justice in their hearts, cultivate the righteous spirit of heaven and earth, and emulate the paragons of past and present.
After the exchange, participants warmly discussed the amusing anecdotes and difficulties they encountered while preparing for the judicial exam, and the entire session proceeded in a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere.
