The Interim Provisions of the Supreme People's Court on Causes of Action for Administrative Cases, which took effect on January 1, 2021, marked a stronger legal basis for citizens suing government officials. On the afternoon of November 25, 2021, Lawyer Li Zuolin from Guangdong Zhiming Law Firm delivered the eighth session of the "Zhiming Lecture Hall" sharing seminar. In this lecture, Lawyer Li Zuolin shared an administrative revocation dispute case he personally handled, focusing on the Administrative Law, the Administrative Litigation Law, and normative documents on natural resources. After the lecture began, Lawyer Li first shared his insights from three years of dedicated study and research on litigation for the protection of literary and artistic rights. He then briefly described the case, clarified its development trajectory, and untangled the legal relationships among the parties. Once everyone had a preliminary impression of the case, Lawyer Li highlighted its difficult points, analyzing the thorny parts by comparing conventional litigation techniques with original strategic methods, peeling back the layers step by step. During this, Lawyer Li shared his case-handling methods and famous sayings about lawyers' work for everyone to learn from. Among them, the following passage was deeply enlightening and unforgettable: "If you are a legislator, please speak out for the people and, in the face of temptations from departmental interests, firmly stand on the side of justice; if you are a judge, please neither wrong nor indulge, and in the heat wave of public opinion clamoring for execution, remain as calm as still water; if you are a lawyer, please speak up for justice and hold tightly the hands of the ordinary people who have no power or influence; if you are a police officer, please enforce the law with kindness and shine with the brilliance of humanity."
