The court held that defendant Song Zhe, alone or in collusion with defendant Xiu Yule, took advantage of Song Zhe's official position to illegally appropriate the property of Wang Baoqiang (Shanghai) Film and Television Cultural Studio in a large amount. The actions of defendants Song Zhe and Xiu Yule violated Article 271, Paragraph 1, and Article 25 of the Criminal Law of the People's Republic of China. The facts of the crime are clear, and the evidence is credible and sufficient. Both should be held criminally liable for embezzlement. In accordance with Article 172 of the Criminal Procedure Law of the People's Republic of China, a public prosecution is initiated, and a judgment according to law is requested.
