During his communication with the restaurant, a staff member, feeling that the customer's voice was too loud and would create a negative impression in the store, called the police to handle the matter. At present, both parties are still in negotiation.
The next day, Mr. Lu received a call from someone claiming to be from the Xi'an headquarters of Haidilao, who offered 1,000 yuan to settle the matter privately.
Finally, Mr. Lu said, "Now I have a demand: compensate me with one yuan, and Haidilao must suspend operations for rectification for at least one week."

(1) Directly request the restaurant to return or exchange the goods.
(2) File complaints with the drug regulatory authority, the administration for industry and commerce, the health bureau, the consumers association, and other relevant bodies.
(3) Alternatively, in accordance with legal provisions, one may claim from the merchant compensation of ten times the price paid or three times the losses incurred.
At the same time, consumers should be careful to retain relevant evidence: preserve the scene, take photos or videos of the problematic food, and keep relevant payment receipts.

On December 31, Lu Yanyan, a first-year junior high school student at Taipingzhuang Town Middle School in a city in Heilongjiang Province, joined her classmates in shoveling snow as organized by the school. Lu Yanyan did not usually wear gloves, so she worked outdoors with her bare hands using a broom and a shovel for just under three hours.
At the time, she did not think her hands were severely frostbitten, but after the snow shoveling ended, Lu Yanyan found that her hands were no longer responsive. After discovering her frostbite, the teacher contacted Lu Yanyan's mother around 10 o'clock. After several transfers, Lu Yanyan was taken to Daqing Oilfield General Hospital that afternoon. Lu Yanyan's right hand fingers were severely swollen, with protruding parts as thick as the fingers themselves, and some areas had turned black.
According to the doctor, the observation period for frostbite is generally 10 to 15 days. Lu Yanyan's hand has just begun treatment and is currently in the observation stage. The swollen areas are likely to recover, but the blackened parts of the fingers require further observation. If recovery does not progress well, amputation cannot be ruled out.

When organizing educational and teaching activities, the school should ensure the personal safety of students. If a student is injured while shoveling snow organized by the school, and the school fails to fulfill its protection duty, it should bear corresponding liability in accordance with the Tort Liability Law of the People's Republic of China.
Yet the issues reflected behind this incident are even more troubling. Many schools in our country still overemphasize obedience in the educational process, to the point that children lose the ability to think independently, to question, and to say “no.” If educators do not reflect and rebuild, this is likely not the last tragedy.
