In an updated short video, "Tizi" apologized to everyone, saying she had made a mistake and paid a heavy price for her ignorance and lack of legal knowledge. Through the video, "Tizi" recounted the entire course of the shark incident, claiming that she had been deceived by the merchant and that the police had investigated all the evidence. She also released in the video a "notice of decision not to file a case" issued by Nanchong police regarding a netizen's report that she had cooked a shark, allegedly endangering precious and endangered wildlife.

Although the internet celebrity "Tizi" was ultimately not held criminally liable for eating a great white shark, her actions endangering wildlife have crossed the moral bottom line of netizens. In her apology letter, "Tizi" repeatedly emphasized that she had requested an edible shark at the time of purchase, but the merchant gave her a wild one instead, and she had no relevant team to review and verify it, so she paid the price for her mistake with an eight-month account suspension and broadcast ban. Now, "Tizi" is trying to return to the internet through a secondary account. Although she previously had over seven million followers, few people support her this time. While people often say, "A fault confessed is half redressed," and indeed the law has shown her leniency, netizens may not necessarily buy it.
