Ticket scalpers not only disrupt the normal ticketing market but also trigger a series of economic chaos. For example, a ticket goes from being hard to get before a concert to a sharp price drop after it starts, which is entirely a man-made inflation of prices. This not only damages the commercial image of the concert organizers but also deprives consumers of their rights. Previously, some scalpers even openly threatened to burn tickets after the concert starts rather than sell them at low prices, aiming to prevent others from getting bargains. Ironically, it is the scalpers themselves who have disrupted the market, and now they are burning tickets to maintain the "market price." Such behavior of "preferring to break jade rather than keep a tile intact" should be severely cracked down on. After all, a healthy market requires the protection of laws and regulations, as well as strong supervision from relevant authorities.
As consumers, we must ensure we purchase tickets through official channels to avoid being scammed. If we encounter institutions or individuals selling tickets at high prices, we should promptly report and complain.
