On the evening of August 25, East OCT held a concluding meeting at the Interlaken Hotel to review the resolution of the "6.29" incident. Nearly a hundred personnel from various units involved in coordinating the incident's handling attended the meeting. Our firm's lawyers Li Zhiyong, Zhang Hongliang, Zhang Qingping, and trainee lawyers Liao Ruibin and Hong Mei were invited to attend. During the meeting, leaders from Yantian District Government and OCT Group praised the lawyers for their excellent and professional expertise, meticulous work style, and sincere and friendly service attitude, affirming that their outstanding performance played a positive role in resolving the incident. Our firm was tasked with dispatching experienced lawyers Li Zhiyong and Zhang Hongliang to participate in mediation when the compensation negotiations were deadlocked, and later added lawyers Zhang Qingping, Liao Ruibin, and Hong Mei, along with trainee lawyers. Over the 23 days from July 20 to August 11, the lawyers took turns stationed at the hotel in Dameisha, the negotiation venue, closely cooperating with the Yantian District Government working group throughout the mediation process. They contributed their wisdom, hard work, and dedication to the successful resolution of the incident, living up to the trust placed in them by the Yantian District Government and our firm's leadership. Their efforts deserve the admiration and emulation of all lawyers and staff at our firm.
