On the evening of August 25, a summary meeting for the handling of the "6.29" incident was held at the Interlaken Hotel in OCT East. Nearly a hundred personnel from various units involved in coordinating the incident attended. Lawyers Li Zhiyong, Zhang Hongliang, Zhang Qingping, and trainee lawyers Liao Ruibin and Hong Mei from our firm were invited to the meeting. During the meeting, leaders from Yantian District Government and OCT Group praised the lawyers for their excellent professional skills, meticulous work style, and sincere and friendly service attitude, acknowledging the positive role their outstanding performance played in resolving the incident. Our firm was tasked with sending experienced lawyers Li Zhiyong and Zhang Hongliang to participate in mediation when the compensation negotiations were deadlocked. Later, lawyers Zhang Qingping, Liao Ruibin, and Hong Mei, along with trainee lawyers, were added. Over 23 days from July 20 to August 11, the lawyers took turns staying at a hotel in Dameisha, the negotiation site, closely cooperating with the Yantai District Government working group to participate in mediation throughout the process. They contributed their wisdom, hard work, and sweat to the successful resolution of the incident, living up to the trust of the Yantian District Government and our firm's leadership, and deserving the respect and learning of all lawyers and staff at our firm.
