[1] Shenzhen Lawyers Association: Zhiming Lawyers Support the "Rule of Law Universiade" with Practical Actions
On the afternoon of April 21, the "Rule of Law Universiade" Volunteer Action Day in Yantian Subdistrict kicked off in Yong'an Community under its jurisdiction. Zhiming Law Firm dispatched four lawyers, including Ren Guo and Xu Longsheng, to participate in the event.
The event was designed to raise public awareness of the importance of enhancing citizens’ legal literacy for the Universiade, promote the laws and regulations governing civilized and orderly participation in Universiade activities, answer the public’s legal questions, resolve disputes and conflicts, and foster a sound legal environment for the Universiade. More than 100 informational materials were distributed to the public during the event, and lawyers from Zhiming patiently addressed numerous legal questions raised by members of the public concerning labor disputes, family property, criminal cases, and other matters. Zhiming lawyers also submitted to the Yantian Subdistrict Judicial Office registration forms for Director Wang Tengfeng and 10 other lawyers to join the subdistrict’s “Rule of Law Universiade” volunteer team, demonstrating Zhiming lawyers’ active support for the “Rule of Law Universiade.”
The relevant leaders from the Yantian District Rule of Law Office and the Justice Bureau highly commended Zhiming lawyers for their dedication to serving community residents pro bono over the past six years.
