[Shenzhen Lawyers Association] The Municipal Lawyers Association visited the Hangzhou Lawyers Association and Anhui Lawyers Association for research and study.
On November 2-3, 2017, Wang Tengfeng, Vice President of the Municipal Lawyers Association, led a team of 10 members, including some from the Training Committee, Publicity Committee, and Public Relations Committee, to the Hangzhou Lawyers Association and Anhui Lawyers Association for discussions and exchanges on lawyer training, education, publicity, and public relations.
On the morning of the 2nd, the research team held discussions with Shi Jianbing, Vice President of the Hangzhou Lawyers Association; Chen Shengyou, Director and Deputy Director of the Publicity and External Liaison Committee; and Shen Haiou, Secretary-General. Shi Jianbing introduced the basic situation of the Hangzhou lawyer industry and the lawyers association, and exchanged views on lawyer training, education, and publicity. Both sides agreed that with the continuous growth of the lawyer population, diversifying training formats, professionalizing training content, balancing regional training, and covering all training targets are necessary to meet the training needs of lawyers. Additionally, in today's era of developed self-media, expanding publicity methods and channels and establishing positive interaction mechanisms with the media are key to showcasing lawyer profiles and strengthening lawyer brand building.
On the morning of the 3rd, the research team held discussions with Zhou Shihong, Vice President of the Anhui Lawyers Association; Meng Chao, Director of the Training Committee; and Fei Li, Director of the Publicity and Liaison Committee. The two sides discussed innovations in training education methods, refinement of training content, and selection of training targets, and extensively exchanged views on the transformation of industry publicity models in the self-media era, lawyer-media interaction, and targeted publicity. Zhou Shihong warmly welcomed the delegation, stating that Shenzhen lawyers are a pioneering force in China's lawyer reform and development, and hoped that Anhui and Shenzhen would strengthen communication and exchange, share industry information and work experience, broaden the thinking of both sides' lawyer work, and jointly promote the development of the lawyer industry in both regions.
During the discussions with the two lawyers associations, Vice President Wang Tengfeng noted that Anhui and Hangzhou have their own characteristics in lawyer work, which are worth learning from for Shenzhen peers. He expressed hope that Shenzhen would continuously strengthen work contacts and exchanges with Anhui and Hangzhou, learn from each other, and jointly promote the development of lawyer business.
During this visit and research, the Training Committee, Publicity Committee, and Public Relations Committee of the Municipal Bar Association conducted extensive and in-depth investigations into the training, education, publicity, and public relations situations in the Anhui and Hangzhou regions, gaining valuable reference experience to further enhance the work of Shenzhen lawyers in these areas.
