[Shenzhen Lawyers Association] The Municipal Lawyers Association visited the Hangzhou Lawyers Association and Anhui Lawyers Association for research and study.
From November 2 to 3, 2017, Wang Tengfeng, Vice President of the Shenzhen Lawyers Association, led a delegation of 10 members, including part of the director teams of the Training Committee, Publicity Committee, and Public Relations Committee, to the Hangzhou Lawyers Association and the Anhui Lawyers Association for discussions and exchanges on training and education, publicity, and public relations in the legal profession.
On the morning of the 2nd, the research team held a discussion with Shi Jianbing, Vice President of the Hangzhou Lawyers Association, Chen Shengyou, Council Member and Deputy Director of the Publicity and External Liaison Committee, and Shen Haiou, Secretary-General. Vice President Shi Jianbing introduced the basic situation of Hangzhou's legal profession and an overview of the Lawyers Association, and engaged in discussions and exchanges with our association regarding lawyer training, education, and publicity. Both parties agreed that as the scale of lawyers continues to grow, diversifying training formats, professionalizing training content, balancing training across regions, and achieving full coverage of training targets are inevitable requirements for meeting the training needs of lawyers. At the same time, in today's era of thriving self-media, expanding publicity methods and channels and establishing a healthy interactive mechanism with the media are key to showcasing lawyers' professionalism and strengthening lawyer brand building.
On the morning of the 3rd, the research team held a discussion and exchange session with Zhou Shihong, Vice President of the Anhui Lawyers Association, Meng Chao, Director of the Training Committee, Fei Li, Director of the Publicity and Liaison Committee, and others. The two sides held discussions on the innovation of training and education methods, the refinement of training content, and the selection of training participants, and conducted extensive exchanges on the transformation of industry publicity models in the era of self-media, lawyer-media interaction, and targeted publicity. Zhou Shihong, Vice President of the Anhui Lawyers Association, extended a warm welcome to our visit. He stated that Shenzhen lawyers are a pioneering force in the reform and development of China’s legal profession, and expressed the hope that Anhui and Shenzhen would strengthen communication and exchanges, share industry information and work experience, broaden the thinking of lawyers’ work on both sides, and jointly promote the development of the legal profession in both Anhui and Shenzhen.
During the discussions with the two lawyers associations, Vice President Wang Tengfeng noted that Anhui and Hangzhou have their own characteristics in lawyer work, which are worth learning from for Shenzhen peers. He expressed hope that Shenzhen would continuously strengthen work contacts and exchanges with Anhui and Hangzhou, learn from each other, and jointly promote the development of lawyer business.
During this visit and research, the Training Committee, Publicity Committee, and Public Relations Committee of the Municipal Bar Association conducted extensive and in-depth investigations into the training, education, publicity, and public relations situations in the Anhui and Hangzhou regions, gaining valuable reference experience to further enhance the work of Shenzhen lawyers in these areas.
