[Shenzhen Lawyers Association] Cultural Committee Studies Work Plan Implementation to Enrich Lawyers' Cultural Life
On the afternoon of May 29, 2015, the Culture Development and Rules Committee of the Shenzhen Lawyers Association (hereinafter referred to as the “Culture Committee”) held its fifth working meeting to discuss the 2015 work plan and its implementation. Director Wang Tengfeng of the Culture Committee and all committee members attended the meeting. Wei Hanjiao, Supervisor General of the Shenzhen Lawyers Association, and Zhao Bo, Supervisor, attended the meeting as non-voting participants.
At the meeting, Director Wang Tengfeng presented the 2015 annual work plan of the Culture Committee. Attendees held serious discussions on the "2015 Shenzhen Lawyers Association Law Firm Culture Development Demonstration Firm Series Selection Activity" and the "2015 Top Ten Shenzhen Lawyers of the Year Photo Selection Activity." They also discussed the eligibility scope for the "Outstanding Firm Logo" and the selection criteria for the "Outstanding Website." Finally, arrangements were made for this year's cultural development work.
The meeting concluded that in the two award categories of the Cultural Development Demonstration Law Firm program—"Outstanding Law Firm Logo Award" and "Outstanding Law Firm Website Award"—six finalists and three excellence award winners shall be selected for each. For the 2015 Shenzhen Lawyer Showcase Photo Selection, submissions should be collected as early as possible, with the focus on presenting the image of Shenzhen lawyers and reflecting their positive, enterprising spirit. The content should feature Shenzhen lawyers handling cases, participating in sports competitions, cultural and sports activities, travel, exploration, legal services, speeches, public welfare activities, and more. The meeting also discussed the grouping of Cultural Committee members and the division of work among the groups.
At the meeting, Supervisor Wei Hanjiao affirmed the work of the Cultural Committee and expressed hope that all committee members would work together with unity, diligence, and innovation to contribute to the healthy development of the city's legal profession.
