[Shenzhen Bar Association] The Municipal Bar Association Successfully Held the 11th Session of the "Craftsmanship Transmission" Lecture Series
On the afternoon of July 25, 2019, the Municipal Bar Association's Committee on Senior Lawyers, Youth Work Committee, and Lawyers College held the 11th session of the "Craftsmanship Transmission" lecture series—"Criminal Defense" Art of Handling Remarkable Cases in the Municipal Bar Association's多功能 hall. Vice President Wang Tengfeng attended the lecture. This session specially invited lawyers Zheng Jianmin from Guangdong Xuchen Law Firm and Liao Ruibin from Guangdong Zhiming Law Firm as sharing guests, with over 40 interested lawyers from the city participating. The lecture was hosted by Li Ruoxuan, assistant director of the Senior Lawyers Committee.
Lawyer Zheng Jianmin, with the theme "Thoughts on Equal Protection of Criminal Legal Rights of Private Enterprises in the New Era," shared detailed years of case-handling experience and insights, combining cases such as illegal resale of land use rights and corporate bribery.
Lawyer Liao Ruibin focused on the theme "How Criminal Lawyers Seize Defense Opportunities Brought by the 'Integration of Arrest and Prosecution,'" discussing four aspects: the reform background of 'integration of arrest and prosecution,' changes in internal procuratorial institutions, changes in arrest approval, and changes in prosecutors' work and thinking. He also comprehensively analyzed case-handling techniques and professional experience, combining major robbery cases.
Vice President Wang Tengfeng expressed gratitude to lawyers Zheng Jianmin and Liao Ruibin for sharing their rich professional experience and case-handling techniques with fellow lawyers despite their busy schedules. He hoped that through this lecture, lawyers could absorb professional experience and techniques in criminal defense and enhance their practical skills in handling criminal cases.
Vice President Wang Tengfeng awarded the "Craftsmanship Transmission" honorary commemorative plaque to lawyers Zheng Jianmin and Liao Ruibin.
After the meeting, attendees had further exchanges and discussions with the sharing guests, stating that they benefited greatly from the lecture and thanked the association for providing a platform for learning and exchange.
