[Shenzhen Lawyers Association] The 10th "Shenzhen Care Campaign" in Yantian District Launched; Guangdong Zhiming Law Firm Participates in Volunteer Services
On January 22, 2013, the launch ceremony of the 10th "Shenzhen Care Action" in Yantian District and volunteer service activities were held in Yong'an Community, Yantian Street. Leaders attending the event included Guo Yonghang, Secretary of the Yantian District Party Committee and Director of the Standing Committee of the District People's Congress; Du Ling, Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee and District Mayor; Dong Xiu, Deputy District Mayor; Qiu Haohang, Member of the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee and Head of the Organization Department; and Xiong Ying, Deputy District Mayor. Guangdong Zhiming Law Firm was invited to send lawyer Zhang Qingping and trainee lawyer Zhong Yaofeng to participate in the on-site volunteer service.
During the event, the firm’s lawyers patiently and meticulously addressed legal questions from members of the public regarding labor and work-related injury claims, family property disputes, and other matters, guiding citizens to express their demands through proper channels. They also actively distributed legal education materials, fulfilling the “Sixth Five-Year” legal education plan through concrete actions and promoting the concept of a rule-of-law Shenzhen.
When inspecting the volunteer service site, leaders from the district committee and district government praised the charitable actions of volunteers like Zhiming lawyers, stating that lawyers participate in volunteer activities by providing public legal services, resolving conflicts and disputes, popularizing legal knowledge, and actively fulfilling social responsibilities, thereby contributing to the advancement of the city's rule-of-law construction.
