[Shenzhen Lawyers Association] The Municipal Lawyers Association Successfully Held the 12th Session of the "Craftsmanship Transmission" Lecture Series
On August 30, 2019, the Senior Lawyers Committee, the Young Lawyers Committee, and the Lawyers College of the Shenzhen Lawyers Association hosted the twelfth session of the "Craftsmanship Transmission" lecture series——"Company Law" Notable Cases and Risk Prevention and Control Practice Art Lecture at the multi-function hall of the Shenzhen Lawyers Association. Wang Tengfeng, Vice President of the Shenzhen Lawyers Association, attended the lecture and delivered comments at its conclusion. Gao Liming, Director of the Senior Lawyers Committee, presided over the lecture. More than 60 interested lawyers from across the city participated in the lecture. The lecture featured Zhang Xiang, a lawyer from Beijing Dacheng (Shenzhen) Law Firm, and Zhang Hongliang, a lawyer from Guangdong Zhiming Law Firm, as guest speakers.
Attorney Zhang Xiang delivered a presentation and shared insights on the theme of “Legal Risk Prevention and Control Practices for Listed Companies,” covering five key areas: legal risks in corporate control, legal risks in mergers and acquisitions, legal risks in information disclosure, legal risks in refinancing, and legal risks for independent directors.
Attorney Zhang Hongliang delivered a presentation titled "How to Approach and Respond to Fund Litigation," in which he elaborated on the differences between public and private funds. Drawing on multiple cases, including disputes over financial entrustment wealth management contracts with banks and disputes over property damage compensation, he analyzed the key points and challenges in fund litigation and shared his practical experience and insights. In addition, he provided an in-depth interpretation of certain provisions in the Minutes of the National Courts' Civil and Commercial Trial Work Conference (2019) concerning the adjudication of fund litigation cases.
Vice President Wang Tengfeng commented, expressing gratitude to Lawyer Zhang Xiang and Lawyer Zhang Hongliang for sharing their rich professional experience and case handling skills with their legal colleagues amidst their busy work schedules. I hope that through this lecture, all lawyers can learn and draw inspiration from literary and artistic rights litigation, and enhance their practical skills in handling cases.
At the end of the lecture, Vice President Wang Tengfeng and Director Gao Liming presented the "Craftsmanship Inheritance" commemorative plaques to lawyers Zhang Xiang and Zhang Hongliang.
During this lecture, lawyers expressed that the knowledge was practical and beneficial, thanking the association for providing a platform for learning and exchange.
