[Shenzhen Lawyers Association] The Municipal Lawyers Association Successfully Held the 12th Session of the "Craftsmanship Transmission" Lecture Series
On August 30, 2019, the Municipal Bar Association's Senior Lawyers Committee, Youth Work Committee, and Lawyer Academy held the 12th edition of the "Craftsmanship Transmission" lecture series at the Municipal Bar Association's multi-function hall—a lecture on "Company Law" featuring compelling cases and risk prevention litigation techniques. Vice President Wang Tengfeng attended the lecture and delivered commentary at its conclusion, with Senior Lawyers Committee Director Gao Liming presiding over the session. Over 60 interested lawyers from the city participated. The lecture specially invited Zhang Xiang, a lawyer from Beijing Dacheng (Shenzhen) Law Firm, and Zhang Hongliang, a lawyer from Guangdong Zhiming Law Firm, as guest speakers.
Lawyer Zhang Xiang gave a presentation on "Practical Legal Risk Prevention for Listed Companies," covering five aspects: legal risks in corporate control, mergers and acquisitions, information disclosure, refinancing, and independent directors.
Lawyer Zhang Hongliang gave a presentation on "How to Approach and Handle Fund Litigation," elaborating on the differences between public and private funds. He analyzed key and difficult points in fund litigation using cases such as disputes over bank financial entrusted investment contracts and property damage compensation, sharing litigation experience and insights. Additionally, he provided an in-depth interpretation of parts of the "2019 National Court Civil and Commercial Trial Work Conference Summary" concerning fund litigation cases.
Vice President Wang Tengfeng commented, expressing gratitude to Lawyer Zhang Xiang and Lawyer Zhang Hongliang for sharing their rich professional experience and case handling skills with their legal colleagues amidst their busy work schedules. I hope that through this lecture, all lawyers can learn and draw inspiration from literary and artistic rights litigation, and enhance their practical skills in handling cases.
At the end of the lecture, Vice President Wang Tengfeng and Director Gao Liming presented lawyers Zhang Xiang and Zhang Hongliang with the "Craftsmanship Transmission" honorary commemorative plaque.
During this lecture, lawyers expressed that the knowledge was practical and beneficial, thanking the association for providing a platform for learning and exchange.
