【Guangdong Lawyers Association】 Symposium on the Development of Legal Professionals in Northern Guangdong Held in Qingyuan
On the morning of November 24, the "Northern Guangdong Lawyers' Business Talent Development Seminar," jointly organized by the Industry Development Research Committee of the Guangdong Lawyers Association and the lawyers associations of Shaoguan and Qingyuan in northern Guangdong, was successfully held in Qingyuan. Liu Tao and Ye Naifeng, vice presidents of the Guangdong Lawyers Association, Wang Tengfeng, deputy supervisor of the Guangdong Lawyers Association, Kuang Qinggang, president of the Qingyuan Lawyers Association, and Ouyang Chuping, vice president of the Shaoguan Lawyers Association, attended the seminar. Huang Zhenhui, director of the Industry Committee of the Guangdong Lawyers Association, along with deputy directors Zhang Qian and Liang Zhirui, and other committee members, as well as 40 representatives from the lawyers associations of Shaoguan and Qingyuan, participated in the meeting. The seminar was chaired by Deputy Director Zhang Qian.

At the start of the meeting, Director Huang Zhenhui, Vice President Ouyang Chuping, and President Kuang Qinggang each delivered speeches.
Director Huang Zhenhui pointed out that the purpose of this seminar is to understand the current state of lawyer development in northern Guangdong, explore shortcomings in legal services and talent development, and provide a reference for the Bar Association's decision-making, thereby further promoting the development of lawyers in Guangdong.
Vice President Ouyang Chuping believes that the seminar on the development of legal talent in northern Guangdong, led by the Provincial Bar Association, is of great significance and will help promote the growth of the legal profession in the underdeveloped northern Guangdong region.
President Kuang pointed out that northern Guangdong covers a vast area but is limited by economic conditions, resulting in obvious shortcomings in the legal industry. He stated that further development of the legal profession requires a full recognition of the importance of talent, with a focus on young lawyers, and suggested that lawyers in northern Guangdong should expand into non-litigation business based on traditional litigation services to better promote the development of the legal profession in the region.
During the seminar session, Vice President of the Shaoguan Bar Association Peng Meilian and Chief Supervisor of the Qingyuan Bar Association He Guisheng delivered keynote speeches on the current state of local legal development and the situation of legal talent. Participants actively engaged in exchanges, offering constructive suggestions on addressing the shortcomings in legal talent in northern Guangdong, and conducted beneficial discussions on how to strengthen professional training for lawyers in the region, enhance their professional competence, establish correct professional values, and leverage the role of mentoring and guiding young lawyers.
During the seminar, Vice President Liu Tao was invited to attend and deliver a speech. He noted that lawyers in northern Guangdong are an important part of the legal profession in Guangdong, and the Provincial Bar Association's seminar on legal talent in northern Guangdong is conducive to promoting the development of the legal industry in the region. He expressed hope that lawyers in northern Guangdong would further focus on improving their professional competence and capabilities, striving to provide high-quality and efficient legal services for economic and social development.
Vice President Ye Naifeng delivered a concluding speech. He affirmed the organization and successful execution of the seminar, stating that talent development in the legal profession is an eternal topic. He noted that the enthusiastic discussions and positive suggestions from representatives played a significant role in the decision-making of the Bar Association, and that the Provincial Bar Association and the Industry Working Committee would explore comprehensive development mechanisms to promote balanced and coordinated development of the legal profession across the province, thereby further advancing high-quality development in the industry.
Deputy Supervisor Wang Tengfeng issued supervisory opinions. He affirmed the organization of the seminar, considering it meticulous, with an efficient and engaging program, rich and novel content, enthusiastic representatives, standardized procedures, and compliance with the Provincial Bar Association's charter and relevant work rules, deeming the seminar a great success. He believed that this meeting would actively promote the development of legal talent in the northern Guangdong legal industry.
