Guangdong Lawyers Association: The First Plenary Meeting of 2019 of the Information Network and High-Tech Professional Committee of the Provincial Lawyers Association Was Held in Guangzhou

On April 17, 2019, the first plenary meeting of 2019 of the Information Network and High-Tech Professional Committee of the Provincial Lawyers Association was held in Guangzhou. Ye Naifeng, Vice President of the Provincial Lawyers Association, attended the meeting. Luo Zhenhui, Director of the Information Network and High-Tech Professional Committee, Deputy Directors Hu Shibo, Tian Zijun, Zhan Zhaoxia, and Liu Ping, Secretary-General Li Weibin, and some committee members, totaling 23 people, attended the meeting. Wang Tengfeng, Deputy Chief Supervisor of the Provincial Lawyers Association, attended the meeting as a non-voting participant. The meeting was presided over by Secretary-General Li Weibin.

At the meeting, Director Luo Zhenhui reviewed the work of the Information Network and High-Tech Professional Committee in 2018 and invited Vice President Ye Naifeng to present certificates to the outstanding committee members of 2018. To implement the 2019 work plan, the Committee continued to follow the principle of assigning responsibility to specific individuals, divided the committee members into groups with specific tasks, and held in-depth discussions on the Committee’s annual work plan and key business areas, making concrete arrangements. The attending committee members conducted careful studies and engaged in enthusiastic discussions, putting forward a number of constructive and actionable innovative suggestions, which laid a solid foundation for the smooth implementation of the Committee’s work this year.

Vice President Ye Naifeng delivered a concluding speech at the meeting, affirming the achievements of the Information Network and High-Tech Professional Committee in 2018 and offering many valuable suggestions for the committee's work in 2019.

Finally, Deputy Supervisor Wang Tengfeng offered supervisory opinions and expressed hope that all members would further strengthen their own development, looking forward to the committee producing more innovative and constructive work results this year.

The legal field of information networks and high-tech has the distinctive characteristic of involving a wide range of departmental laws and spanning multiple legal practice areas.
