Case review
According to the Changsha Tianxin District People's Court, Cao filed a lawsuit against Sang in the Tianxin District People's Court over an equity transfer dispute. However, on the day of the hearing, Sang did not appear in court to participate in the litigation without a valid reason despite being lawfully summoned by the court. After a lawful absence trial, the court ruled that the defendant Sang shall pay the plaintiff Cao more than 700,000 yuan within ten days after the judgment takes effect, and pay overdue interest at a monthly rate of 1% until the total amount is fully paid.

 
 

After the case entered the compulsory enforcement procedure, Sang fulfilled part of his repayment obligations and then started playing 'hide and seek' with the applicant and the court. Several Provisions of the Supreme Court on the Publication of the List of Dishonest Persons Subject to Enforcement
Article 1
If the person subject to enforcement fails to fulfill the obligations determined by a legally effective document and has any of the following circumstances, the people's court shall include them in the list of dishonest persons subject to enforcement and impose credit penalties in accordance with the law:
(1) Having the ability to perform but refusing to fulfill the obligations determined by an effective legal document;
(2) Obstructing or resisting enforcement by means such as forging evidence, violence, or threats;
(3) Using false litigation, false arbitration, or methods such as concealing or transferring property to evade enforcement;
(4) Violating the property reporting system;
(5) Violating the consumption restriction order;
