[Shenzhen Lawyers Association] Shenzhen Lawyers Association signed bilateral and trilateral strategic agreements with Shenzhen Law Society and Shenzhen Library
On the morning of October 19, the Shenzhen Lawyers Association, the Shenzhen Law Society, and Shenzhen Library signed bilateral and tripartite strategic agreements at the Office of the Political and Legal Affairs Commission of the CPC Shenzhen Municipal Committee. Attendees at the signing ceremony included Liang Zengchang, Executive Deputy Secretary of the Political and Legal Affairs Commission of the CPC Shenzhen Municipal Committee; Huang Xinshan, Full-time Vice President of the Shenzhen Law Society, and Hao Zhi, Deputy Secretary-General; Lin Changchi, President of the Shenzhen Lawyers Association, Wang Tengfeng, Vice President, Ding Chaoqun, Council Member, Liu Feng, Deputy Secretary-General, Zhu Yanqun, Deputy Director of the Public Welfare Committee, and Yang Yindi, Deputy Director of the Publicity Committee; and Wang Bing, Deputy Director of Shenzhen Library, and Zhang Sen, Director of the General Office. The ceremony was presided over by Zeng Zhenghong, Full-time Member of the Political and Legal Affairs Commission of the CPC Shenzhen Municipal Committee and Director of the Political Department.
Zeng Zhenghong, Member of the Special Committee, introduced the background and content of the bilateral and trilateral cooperation. To strengthen cooperation in the legal field and promote exchanges and collaboration between the two associations, the Shenzhen Lawyers Association and the Shenzhen Law Society will establish and develop a close, long-term, and stable cooperative relationship featuring mutual assistance, mutual support, and common development. The agreement includes provisions on establishing a regular work exchange mechanism between the two parties, jointly organizing legal forums, legal education lectures, and other activities; strengthening the promotion of theoretical research on legal litigation in Shenzhen and establishing relevant academic research institutions; and enhancing cooperation in public welfare activities and legal project services for the Party committee, people's congress, government, and other relevant entities. The Shenzhen Lawyers Association, the Shenzhen Law Society, and Shenzhen Library reached an agreement on jointly creating a public welfare legal service platform. The three parties will cooperate in jointly establishing a “Public Welfare Legal Service Platform,” providing free legal consultations, and conducting “Lawyers' Legal Commentary” legal education lectures, among other initiatives.
President Lin Changzhi remarked that the lawyers association is the "natal home" for lawyers, the law society is the "natal home" for legal professionals, and the library is the spiritual home for all citizens of the city. By leveraging their respective strengths in a powerful alliance, the three parties signed an agreement to jointly contribute to building a country, government, and society governed by the rule of law, as advocated by the 19th National Congress.
Deputy Secretary Liang Zengchang thanked the Shenzhen Lawyers Association for its support of the Shenzhen Law Society's work and praised the association's efforts in mobilizing Shenzhen lawyers to actively participate in legal construction and industry self-regulation. He expressed hope for practical cooperation in enhancing academic exchanges, legal theory research, sharing academic achievements, and exploring rule-of-law practices. Deputy Secretary Liang Zengchang expressed confidence that signing the strategic agreement would elevate the work of the three parties to a new level.
