[1] "Criminal Legal Service Skills" Thematic Lecture Tour Officially Launched by Shenzhen Lawyers Association
On August 23, 2017, the launch ceremony of the "Criminal Legal Service Skills" special lecture tour was held in the multi-function hall of the Shenzhen Lawyers Association. Lin Changchi, President of the Shenzhen Lawyers Association, and Wang Tengfeng, Vice President, attended the launch ceremony. The ceremony was presided over by He Zhijun, Director of the Training Committee.
Vice President Wang Tengfeng pointed out that the thematic lecture tour is a new training model organized by the Training Committee of the current session. Its principles are fairness and inclusivity. Training courseware is openly solicited from lawyers across the city, carefully evaluated, and outstanding training courseware is selected to reflect fairness. The training is conducted in a tour format, starting from Futian District and gradually touring to all districts of Shenzhen, so that lawyers throughout the city can benefit and gain from the thematic lecture tour training in their local areas, truly enjoying the convenience and benefits of the training.
President Lin Changzhi expressed his gratitude to the lawyers who attended the launch ceremony and affirmed the Training Committee’s new training model of thematic circuit lectures. He emphasized that the circuit lecture training approach is one of the commitments of the current Lawyers Association to delivering inclusive benefits to all lawyers across the city. He also expressed his hope that criminal defense lawyers throughout the city, in the context of full coverage of criminal defense, would seize the opportunity presented by these thematic circuit lectures, build up their knowledge reserves, enhance their criminal defense capabilities and standards, and strengthen the competitiveness of Shenzhen’s criminal defense lawyers. He simultaneously announced the official commencement of the first thematic circuit lecture on “Criminal Legal Service Skills.”
