On June 27, "Deyun She" trended on social media, with online reports that its artist Chen Xiaohua broke into a residence at night and was taken away by police. That morning, Deyun She's Weibo account issued a statement on the matter:

 

On the 26th, Deyun She learned via phone from a friend of Chen (not a Deyun She member) that Chen (stage name "Chen Xiaohua") had drunkenly broken into someone's home in the early hours of June 25, 2022, and was taken away by police.
 
On the afternoon of the 26th, Deyun She received a call from police requesting assistance in the investigation (regarding verifying Chen's identity) and actively cooperated, thereby preliminarily confirming that Chen is suspected of unlawfully entering another's residence.
 
Deyun Society made the decision to dismiss Chen immediately and issued a "Notice of Dismissal" to him on the evening of the 26th. Deyun Society required that he must not engage in any behavior or activities in the name of any Deyun Society artist, must not perform or use any works copyrighted by Deyun Society on any occasion, and must not continue to use the stage name he used during his employment at Deyun Society.

Article 245: Crime of Illegal Search and Crime of Unlawful Intrusion into a Residence
 
Whoever unlawfully searches another person's body or residence, or unlawfully intrudes into another person's residence, shall be sentenced to fixed-term imprisonment of not more than three years or criminal detention. 
Any judicial officer who abuses his power and commits the crime mentioned in the preceding paragraph shall be given a heavier punishment.

Reports say Chen Xiaohua actually broke into a woman's home while drunk and attempted sexual assault, but whether it was an attempted sexual assault is not yet known. If so, Chen Xiaohua will face criminal liability for attempted indecency or attempted rape. If it is ultimately determined to be illegal entry into another's residence, he will also bear related criminal liability, and even if the circumstances are not serious, he will face corresponding administrative penalties. In any case, Chen Xiaohua will not escape legal sanctions this time.
 
As Chen Xiaohua's company, Deyun Society probably never expected to trend on social media all morning because of such a scandal. This proves that a tall tree catches the wind—even if an artist under the company is not famous, once a scandal occurs, the public will readily push Deyun Society into the spotlight. This shows that public figures must maintain self-discipline, as good deeds are rarely known but bad deeds spread far and wide. Chen Xiaohua has not only lost his job but also ruined his future.
